Solo Traveller Canoe & Kayak Trips
Join a small hosted group for the ultimate solo traveller canoe & kayak expedition. Our singles adventure holidays are a simple, friendly way to explore the River Severn without the “single supplement” feel. We handle the luggage transfers, kit, and daily support so you can focus on the journey.
Solo Traveller Expeditions & Singles Holidays
Searching for solo kayaking in the UK or a single person boat trip? Our 3-day hosted format on the River Severn is the professional answer. Most guests start looking for a solo kayak but choose our traditional canoes for their stability and gear capacity. Running through Shrewsbury, Ironbridge, and Bridgnorth, these trips offer the perfect mix of remote river time and town comfort, all backed by 30 years of local navigation expertise.
Solo B&B canoe adventure
Three days on the river with town evenings, hot showers and a good bed each night. Ideal if you want an adventure by day and comfort by night.
- Small hosted group of solo travellers
- B&B stays in Shropshire river towns
- Clear daily targets and town finish points
Solo camping canoe adventure
A quieter, more nature-heavy version of the trip. Start higher up the Severn, camp close to the river and end each day under big skies instead of town lights.
- Small hosted group of solo travellers
- Riverside campsites close to the water
- Fire chats, stars and real river time
How the solo trips usually run
Crewgreen area to Shrewsbury. Meet the group, get fully briefed and launched. Paddle towards your overnight stay with time for food and a wander.
Shrewsbury to Ironbridge. Pass under historic bridges and follow stunning vistas into the UNESCO Ironbridge Gorge with riverside stops along the way.
Ironbridge to Bridgnorth area. Head through wooded banks and sandstone cliffs, finishing for pick-up or the option to extend your journey to Arley.
This is the typical B&B format. Camping departures offer the same supported 3-day shape but with more remote overnight spots.
